Molly Tarlov is an American actress who is famous for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama TV show Awkward from 2011. Tarlov, the youngest of two girls was raised and grew up to Manhattan, New York. At the age of 10 she played the role of Mrs. Peterson as part of an Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was highly acclaimed by a crowd that included seven-year-olds. She spent summers studying at NYU Tisch and the Interlochen Center for the Arts. She trained in a range of styles for acting and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. Additionally, she studied with The Atlantic Theater Company and she was able to integrate the writing aspect of her act in the LAByrinth Theater Master Class. Molly swapped her black winter jacket in exchange for black sunglasses and headed to Los Angeles. Her parents were very impressed when she landed a role that required just three words on iCarly. Molly has been on a variety of TV shows and has produced Caitlin for Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly is a pro basketball player who likes to believe she's much better than she is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
